Velvet PR Terms and Conditions

Welcome to our website. If you continue to browse and use this website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern Velvet PR’s relationship with you in relation to this website.

The term Velvet PR or “us” or “we” refers to the owner of the website . The term “you” refers to the user or viewer of our website.

* = Whenever this star is shown alongside a particular benefit on the Velvet PR website then this means that the particular benefit where it is shown alongside only applies to females.

Velvet PR has an initial minimum membership period of 12 months (unless specifically indicated otherwise in an offer) and operates on an annual membership basis. Membership shall renew automatically unless we receive the member’s request by telephone to cancel at least 10 working days prior to the Anniversary. Velvet PR will provide the Member with at least 2 renewal notifications via email no less than 10 days in advance of the Anniversary. One of these will be no less than 4 weeks prior to the Anniversary. A renewal reminder will also be posted in the member’s account section of the Velvet PR website no less than 4 weeks prior to the anniversary. Members must inform us if they change their correspondence postal or email address and we will not be liable for any non receipt of communication from us, this includes the renewal reminder.
Membership cards will only be valid when presented by the named card holder.
Members must state that they are a Velvet PR member and present a valid membership card at the venue / event to gain points. Members who do not present a valid membership card will be charged the relevant entry fee by venues and points will not be added onto the account. Loyalty Card holders guests must also mention the Velvet PR guestlist in order for the named card holder to receive the relevant points onto the account.
Although Velvet PR works in good-faith with venues and event organisers to offer free entry into specified venues and events, Velvet PR are not responsible for any admissions related problems or issues you may experience. Velvet PR there of, do not guarantee entry or free entry into any establishments. Venues and event organisers have their own policies for entry which supersede the terms of your Velvet PR membership. Terms of admission may also change at the sole discretion of any participating venues or event. As such venues and event organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to any member of the public or Velvet PR member for various reasons including but not limited to: having reached full capacity, being drunk or intoxicated, Being under the legal age for entry, being dressed inappropriately, being part of a large all male group and arriving after the latest entry time. Velvet PR are not responsible for any inconvenience that may ensue, if you are denied access for any reason, including but not limited to the above mentioned. Please ensure that you follow all club and event rules and conditions of entry as stated on the Velvet PR website. In the event that a venue or event has reached maximum capacity, due to licensing and health and safety regulations, patrons, including Velvet PR members may be admitted entry on a ‘one in, one out, first come first served’ bases.
Payments for exchanged points can take up to 4 weeks from the date of the attended event and will be issues via cheque.
Velvet PR memberships are non-transferrable and Members must under no circumstances ever pass their membership details or membership onto other persons as this is a fraudulent act. Velvet PR members deemed to have passed on their membership details or membership card to another person will immediately have their membership cancelled. Cancelled memberships are non-refundable. Individuals found to be using a stolen, lost or borrowed membership are committing a fraudulent and illegal act and will be reported to the authorities. Membership cards remain the property of Velvet PR at all times.
Please ensure that your Membership card is kept securely at all times. Lost or stolen cards should be reported to Velvet PR immediately. Members may apply to Velvet PR for a replacement card for which Velvet PR will charge an administration fee of £10. Replacement cards will be issued at Velvet PR’s discretion.
From time to time Velvet PR may offer ‘Trial member’ cards with specific conditions and limitations including, by way of example, the duration of the trial. These terms and conditions, except clause 1 will apply to any Trial Membership.
The Velvet PR website contains pages with the definitive guide to current offers. Members recognise that some venues or events may leave the scheme at anytime without notice, whilst others will join. Some venues and events may also change the conditions of their offer after you have become a member and we shall have no responsibility for any such changes by venues and events. Printed information, by their nature, will include information that may not be current and members accept that they may not rely on printed materials. For the avoidance of doubt, the full value or any part of the value of the membership will not be refunded if any of the venues or events are no longer available, have changed their offer or have been replaced by other venues or events.
You have the right to cancel your membership within 10 days of purchasing. To cancel your membership within 10 days you must contact Velvet PR by telephone and return your membership card as instructed by Velvet PR customer services. You will be entitled to a refund of your membership, upon return of your membership card which must be in reuasble condition. If you wish to cancel your membership after 10days and subject to any other statutory rights you may have, we will not be obliged to give refunds for any unused portion of your membership.
Neither Velvet PR nor any group company shall be liable under any circumstances for the use or misuse of the Velvet PR scheme. Velvet PR shall not be liable for any damages or losses of any nature whatsoever arising out of this agreement.
These Terms and Conditions, and any agreement entered into in connection with the same, shall be interpreted in accordance with the English law and subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
You acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions. You understand that on this acceptance, Velvet PR will start production of my personalised membership card and that this agreement shall commence upon acceptance. You further understand that these terms and conditions will be updated from time to time and will become effective immediately on publication on this website.
The information on this website (and any attachments) is confidential and property of Velvet PR until Velvet PR releases it via contractual means. This includes all concepts and ideas created by Velvet PR. Any use of a concept or idea with out Velvet PR’s permission (i.e. via contracts) is illegal and Velvet PR will have the right to charge the company, individual or party who has used an Velvet PR’s concept or idea with out contractual permission a fee. The fee can be of any amount that Velvet PR deems reasonable.
In no event will we be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits arising out of, or in connection with, the use of this website.
