Jon Scales (Managing Director) founded Velvet PR in 2007 after spotting a gap in the market for an incentive based loyalty scheme within the nightclub promotions market. Jon has been running events all over the country for the past 7 years after setting up his first company “Skoolboy Promotions” at the age of 16, he went on to run some very successfull events in Manchester and where he was the organiser of the citys first major “Foam Party” amongst other things, and ran hugely succesfull house events right across the city.

Having worked with all the major venues in Manchester and deciding that he had more to acheive he moved down to London and began hosting and supplying guestlists for all the major nightclubs and has ran several high profile events which include; X Factor afterparty, strictly come dancing afterparty, shipwrecked re-union party, big brother afterparty, brit awards afterparty and has worked with brands such as; putnika vodka, moet and chandon, the sun newspaper, OK magazine to name a few.

Charis Griffith (Head of Promotions) has been on the club scene for many years and has built up a reputation amongst London clubbers for being “the best host” around and always the last one to leave a party!

She is also heavily involved with fashion and has worked as a stylist for top brands and celebrities across the UK and Europe. Since joining Velvet PR she has taken it to the next level and continues to be “the face” of the brand and always keeps people coming back for more!
