Chewton Glen

Chewton Glen is a Luxury Country House Hotel & Spa located just below the New Forest National Park and very close to Christchurch and Bournemouth while still being only 90 miles from Central London. Set in 130 acres of its own grounds in the Hampshire countryside and just a short walk from the sea, it’s perfect for a traditional (if luxurious!) English holiday. Chewton Glen is a very special place and was voted 'Top Hotel in the British Isles 2009'. Despite the wealth of fabulous amenities on hand they have just 58 elegant, individually decorated bedrooms and suites to ensure a very personal touch. There is a mix of antique furnishings and modern and traditional textiles and most rooms have a terrace, balcony or private garden.

For the keen golfer, the hotel has its own 900+ yard, 9-hole, par 3 golf course and is within a short drive (no pun intended) of various private Golf Courses from sea links to championship parkland courses. They also have their own dedicated tennis centre with indoor and outdoor courts, clay pigeon shooting, archery, cycling, fishing and sailing nearby, a stunning indoor pool and spa (complete with Hydrotherapy pool), a heated outdoor swimming pool and not to mention a fine croquet lawn! In addition to the lounges and outside terraces their restaurant, Vetiver, offers superb fine dining in beautiful surroundings with one of the best meals we have experienced outside London for a while. The service is friendly and impeccable at every level. We can hardly recommend Chewton Glen highly enough!
