The name Purl originates from a 19th century beverage that was commonly pushed exchanges of London. Purl bar first opened it's doors in May 2010.
The word purl describes an old English beverage including warm ale, gin, wormwood and spices.
The intention of bench was to bring classic cocktails back to the leading edge of London's consuming situation, whilst adding brand-new flare and creativity to forgotten drinks. Purl soon became identified for its innovative strategy to concoctions, that used culinary methods to help in the tale of every cocktail on its listing.
Today, we continue to envision drinks that satisfy on a multi-sensory degree, using fragrance, fogs, airs, foams, meals, custom serviceware and liquid nitrogen to deliver the drink to life and transport the visitor to an additional location or time.
We like individuals to book tables with us to stay clear of dissapointment on the door. We have a number of booths in under-the-road arcs that are best for parties of 8 or more.
We have the tendency to play modern songs with a lean to swing/jazz/blues. We do not do dj's.
Aside from our instead delicious cocktail selection we serve 3 tastes of wine - red, white and pink. We also have a nice selection of craft draft beers and a few bites to eat.
We're located on Blandford Road, which operates in between Baker Road and Marylebone High Street.
The sad thing is, our superb location also means we are somewhat limited with our alcohol license, providing us opening up times from 5pm up until 11.30 pm Monday to Thursday and 12am on Friday and
