Texture
Portman Square’s Michelin starred restaurant Texture is housed in a beautifully restored Georgian building with sleek, modern artwork and original, ornate architectural features. French born Xavier has become well known as one of UK’s finest sommeliers, becoming a Master Sommelier at only 23 years old. Originally from Iceland, Chef Director Agnar has learnt his culinary skill working in some of the world’s most prestigious Michelin- starred restaurants. Icelandic ingredients feature heavily throughout the menus as well as the clean, fresh and healthy nature of their cooking which is presented in mind-bending and unique manners. The menu caters to foodies with mains including Icelandic Cod, pan-roasted with avocado purée, chorizo, coco beans and sauce vierge; and Icelandic Lamb from Skagafjordur accompanied by broth, barley and root vegetables. The food is divine and we think Texture is truly one of the best secret finds on the London scene. We couldn’t recommend you giving it a try any more highly.
Texture has created a vision for a restaurant where wine and food are both important. The result is Texture a 60 seat Michelin Stared restaurant and 30 seat Champagne Bar offering excellence in equal measures. The bar is elegantly designed welcoming diners for pre-dinner aperitifs or those who want to sip extraordinary Champagne.View Larger Map
