On the 16th May 2014, Press Club London opened its beautiful doors and threw an almighty opening night featuring the likes of popular London DJ- 'DJ Scorch' and since then has gone from strength to strength. It is the newest, high-end club to open in the West End. You will definitely feel like a VIP as soon as you walk through the Press Club Guestlist,where you are then greeted with a beautiful staircase covered in white Thasos stone,then met with the red carpet to end up at the awe-inspiring circular bar in the centre of the venue. This, paired with The Funktion One sound system (the first ever to be installed in a venue) and 13 shiny new 80-inch 3D televisions makes this an incredible place, whether you are throwing a party, fashion show or product launch, while the walls are adorned with 13, 80-inch 3D televisions.
Press Club London really is a Cinderella story. What was once a car park has now been transformed into one of London's most prestigious clubs. What was once an ugly duckling has blossomed into a pretty sexy superclub. It may have taken 4 years and £25 million, but it was certainly worth the wait! It is now a stunning place for an amazing night out. Before this hedonistic haven even opened, the owners were approached by Jay-Z’s chain of nightclubs 40/40, but decided against selling their masterpiece. In an interview with The Evening Standard the owner, Gazmend Prekazi said: “We wanted to create a club like the old days, where you can come down and have a good time no matter how much money you have. We don’t want anyone to feel left out. We are trying to be a Superclub on a par with the ones you’d find in St Tropez, Cannes and Ibiza. London was waiting for something like this."Gazmend certainly set the bar high for this newbie club, but it has certainly lived up to its expectations. This club is genuinely new. It has never been any other club, it has not been renovated and re-branded. It is a totally new build. Brand spanking new clubs like this are hard to come by in London so make sure you come and see this exclusive gem of a venue.
The club itself is an amazingly adaptable space, which has a large capacity of 1000 guests. The club is divided into 5 main club areas each with their own individual style. So whether you prefer to be where the action is or to party in private at Press Guestlist, this space can cater for all.Unlike many other clubs being VIP here doesn't just mean a velvet rope. Each VIP area is reached by a private lift and have a discrete back exit with their own restrooms. If you like to arrive in style, it's also one of the few clubs in London that offer valet parking. One of the perks from its car park roots.
Press Club Guestlist's best nights are on a Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and mainly plays House, Dance and Chart music, but no matter your music taste you will not be disappointed. Just so long as you're dressed to impress. Doors open at 10.30pm and the club closes at 3am. The club is high-end , but for a high-end club its drink prices are very reasonable. If you don't want to spend too much a glass of house wine is £7. Meanwhile Press Guestlist has a large range of cocktails all varying in flavours and particularly prices, which start at £18 and go up to £180, while the largest bottle of Ace Of Spades champagne will cost over £60,000- If you are feeling super fancy. This is just another aspect of this clubs versatility.
This place is one of the only "new" clubs in London that are in fact genuinely new.
