Whisky Mist is located in the heart of Mayfair and is the popular playing ground for the London social elite. The past couple of months have seen top A-list celebrities such as Will I AM, Katy Perry, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian to name a few partying at this elite venue in Mayfair.

Vanity Slave is bringing the New York sounds and party vibe to London with their infamous NY2LDN nights.

Jalouse has been heading up London's exclusive nightclub scene for the last 5 years since its creation back in 2008 from the highly respected nightclub empresarios Maroof Yooseph and Freddie Achom both of which have build themselves up from club promoting and with this expert experience in grass roots promoting they certainly know what will bring in the crowds.

The kitchen at DSTRKT restaurant is headed up by top chef George Yaneff who come from the top SLS hotel in Beverley Hills who bring his team to take control of this brand new and exclusive restaurant on Rupert Street in London.

The cuisine is a mix of modern American cuisine with much effort spent on creting an innovative menu for all tastes.

The restaurant at DSTRKT is attached onto the nightclub at DSTRKT giving it a lively atmosphere and diners are encouraged to stay on well after the meal in the early hours if you so wish.

I went to DSTRKT with a little cynicism towards restaurants which are situated next to a night club. I admit I was taken aback firstly by the design of the restaurant which is super elegant and secondly by the staff who are obviously highly trained professionals.

My partner and I had the a la carte menu although we did see the Tasting Menu also which looked good but is more for party bookings.

The food offered a good selection and the waiter was very knowledgable about the produce and my partner and I were happy to let the waiter recommend our dishes. Dishes I would not have previously chosen, I would know choose. Wines were suggested with each course and we took recommendations and enjoyed them all.

We were very pleased with the presentation, quality and service and would return gladly. Next time we will return as a group and try the tasting menu.

We left feeling full, happy and a little more knowledgable about Modern cuisine and wines.

Aura Mayfair is holding its annual halloween party Saturday 26th October this year!

Halloweeen parties at Aura are alaways a big affair with over £5000 being sopent on decking out the club to a ghoulish setting.
