Chakana is a Mayfair late-night lounge bar and nightclub which is unlike many other exclusive night spots in May fair and Kensington

Chakana a collaborative efforts from Corrado Mozzillo who has brought his party coordinating skills alongside Argentinian Augustus Rossillo and Andrew Dax who have built their name up organising some of the biggest parties in Ibiza.

Put these three nightclub impresario together under the expert on umbrella of Nick House entertainment Chakana club has all the ingredients to become one of the best night spots in London.

Chakana loses mystical charm with a menage of old-fashioned inca oddities. Chakana has an ancient sacred space with which guests can indulge in over the top traditions that have stood the test of time of the years. Chakana is set within a backdrop of reds, golds with snake skin couches and rustic wooden tables and salvaged pieces of antique art that gives Chakana a warm feeling and not the clinical modern vibe that many other of Chakana's competition seems to go down the route of..

The drinks menu has been exclusively put together by Issak Morrison and is is themed heavily around the Andes super foods, some of the cocktails on the menu include ingredients such as; Maca Root, Inca berries and read tequilas and rums  

The menu has to be tried and each of the exclusive cocktails on the menu will be like nothing you have ever tasted. The venue itself opens earlier than many other nightspots with the doors opening from 8 PM to 9 PM during the week and weekends so perfect for any after dinner / work drinks

With so much competition in such a small area ,making a name of yourself within this "square" of clubs is not easy as there is plenty of fierce competition a stone's throw away.

Quality must be of the highest order to entice the high spending customers that frequent Mayfair every weekend.

The Mayfair club has spotted a lucrative  gap in the adult marketplace successfully serving as an high-end gentleman's club during the week and come weekends the doors are opened to a glamorous crowd that opens the doors every weekend, another unique selling point of The Mayfair club allows it to stand out from its competition is the fact that the venue is open till 6 AM every weekend which makes it the only venue to hold a late licence around the area. This itself is a unique selling point and some of the busiest times you can find out the door of the Mayfair club would be between 3 AM and 6 AM

The Mayfair club is not the first and hopefully may not be the last venue that has sat on the exclusive address of 50 Dover Street over the years. The Mayfair club seems to however stood the test of time over the last four years and has been responsible for some of London's biggest events and highest spends.

Anyone who has visited the Mayfair club will be aware that although it's not the biggest of venues in Mayfair or indeed the West End the venue has worked hard to maximise the space available and in my opinion been very successful in finding a compromise between dance floor space and VIP tables

There is always a buzz outside the door at the Mayfair club and this extends inside the venue once you make it down the stairwell into the venue. inside the venue has a luxurious purple colour scheme with comfortable seating making a change from the typically uncomfortable tables that you can find at many other clubs in London.

The decor is very attractive inside with a large chandelier style writing giving it a glamorous and impressive feel. The rather common now LED screen that displays programs images is also a nice touch and gives the venue and more modern feel which works well.

The VIP section at the Mayfair club does take over a large portion of the venue, tables in this area normally cost around £1000 minimum spend is depending on the number of guests that there are. The area is guarded by two burly security and only invite in the most attractive guess all those that want to show off by buying one of the many selections of high-end champagne available

This really is the best place to be and offers a lot more space to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of the main floor. The Mayfair club provides entertainment for punters on the Friday and Saturday with dancers on podiums and also some occasionally some of the more alternative acts such as fire breathing and hoop performances as well

The door policy at the Mayfair club is as you would expect from any client nightclub in London the dress code is not only smart during the week but on the weekends the venue expects everyone to look the part. The music policy is much more geared towards the R&B and hip-hop playing a commercial mix of R&B tunes until later when many of the most recognisable hip-hop will be played until closing

The Mayfair club does well to encourage the high-end crowd and yet still get away with playing the more urban tracks and the mix works very well and is the Mayfair club has certainly cornered this style in Mayfair

Whisky Mist is in no uncertain terms one of the more exciting night spots in the heart of Mayfair. With fierce competition around the area and a hotbed of some of London's most renowned nightclubs Whisky Mist has a lot to do to ensure it stands out from the crowds in what is sometimes a rather cluttered market

Whisky Mist has taken inspiration from a Scottish heritage and inside the décor lends itself well to a Highland resort with its fixtures and fittings the main focal point of this would be the stuffed moose which hangs from the ceiling and looks over the club is beneath

There is also a Gothic elements with other features such as the pulpits which also doubles as the DJ booth and the stained-glass windows giving whiskey missed a Gothic elements which works really well helps contribute to making Whisky Mist a really authentic venue

No expense spared as being spent at Whisky Mist which would help to explain how this lavish interior attract some of London's most wealthy and influential guests. You can tell from the outset that this venue is a product of Nick house with Summers is unique style being injected into Whisky Mist such as the innovative cocktails that are brought in vessels in keeping with the theme just as me he brings out the treasure chests for their Polynesian style , attention to detail has played a massive part in ensuring the theme is not lost and maintains its charector right down the the last detail.

It's fair to say that Whisky Mist has a large selection of whiskey providing one of the most varied and exclusive selection in London.

Whisky Mist is guestlist only and table bookings are highly recommended. In February 2014 Whisky Mist has undergone a dramatic refurbishment however it has not left any of its originality behind
