Belgraves, A Thompson Hotel has touched down in Belgravia from the stylish Thompson Hotel collection (which includes 60 Thompson in NYC). The stunning service and design-driven hotel features loft-feel lobby, complete with contemporary open fireplace and art installations. Importantly it also houses Hix Belgravia and a new Mark’s Bar upstairs.

Venturing forth from Hix’s signature British style, the menu draws inspiration from global cuisine with dishes like Vietnamese chicken broth or Red Sea prawn and pumpkin curry with basmati rice and toast almonds alongside a plethora of steaks and chops. The hotel itself features bold interior architecture from British designer Tara Bernerd and contains 85 rooms and suits, an intimate library bar and a fitness centre.

The beautiful 20-metre glass roofed indoor pool with an outdoor vitality pool and sun terrace has to be the highlight but they have all manner of activities in the grounds including clay pigeon shooting, bike riding, falconry, tennis, horse riding and even a games room for children.  If you can’t leave the office fully behind then there is technology throughout whether for work or play and even meeting and conference facilities. The 133 guest rooms, including 22 suites, are all generously sized and offer attractive views of the central courtyard or the gardens and hills beyond.

Their celebrated restaurant, Seasons, is very sought-after but we actually recommend trying their amazing Farmer’s Market Sunday lunch buffet which consists of everything from exotic salads, fish courses, an array of roast carvery options and delicious desserts.
