Information About The Mahiki Dress Code

Mahiki Dress Code

If you are looking for an unusual night out with a tropical vibe, the Mahiki guestlist is the place to be. It’s one of the main celebrity hang outs in London, visited by stars like Rita Ora, Rihanna and Beyonce. But once you decide on spending your night in this holiday paradise, you have to get familiar with the Mahiki dress code. The Hawaiian decor and summery vibes might make it seems like a really laid back place, but you couldn’t be any more wrong! To gain your entry to Mahiki, you have to make sure you look smart and sexy! So what are you supposed to wear to fit into this high end Mayfair club? Here are few tips that will help you to get to know rules of the Mahiki dress code.

Mahiki’s bar is very Tiki, full with tropical creations and Polynesian inspired decor makes you feel like you were on holidays in Hawaii. But don’t think you can rock the dancefloor with your sandals on! The club expects their guests to dress to impress with it’s strict smart dress code. Obviously you don’t have to wear a ballgown, but you have to make an effort if you decide to party here. High heels for girls and smart shoes for guys is the most important rule of the Mahiki dress code. It is important that your look matches the image of the venue. The door people at the club take their job very seriously and they will make sure only people who follow Mahiki’s dress code won’t be turned down at the entrance.

If you are a girl make sure that:
  • Your makeup is on point and eyebrows on fleek! However don’t overdo it. Too many layers on your face won’t do you any favours.
  • Your outfit is classy! You could never go wrong with a fitted dress, however jeans and crop top combo is good too. Feel free to compliment your outfit with fancy accessories. (Top tip: always remember the rule of showing off just one part of your body).
  • You have your heels on!
  • Your hair is flawless. Fancy bun, romantic waves or sleek straight hair? There are a lot of ways to look fabulous and a great hair style could be a cherry on top of your amazing outfit.
  • Did we mention high heels?
  •

If you are a guy, always remember:
  • Smart look is the best look. The sharper the better.
  • Your best shirt and elegant trousers are the safest pick, however dark jeans are acceptable too if they are fitted right. Baggy jeans are definitely a no-no!
  • Put your best smart shoes on. No runners or athletic shoes whatsoever.
  • Leave your hat and gold chain at home.
  • Jerseys or any other sportswear will not be accepted.
  • Even though it’s a tropical night out, shorts are definitely not an option.
  •

These are most important things you should know about the Mahiki dress code, however there is one more thing worth mentioning. Remember not to arrive drunk at the club, because no matter how good you look, a great outfit won’t get you in if your speech is slurred. A good attitude at the door will definitely do you more good than harm, so remember that it’s always important to be polite. It all may sound like a lot of effort but once you are past the velvet ropes and find yourself inside this holiday paradise of a nightclub sipping a tropical cocktail you will know it was all worth it!

Charlie Club London Entry - Charlie Guestlist and Charlie Table Bookings

Charlie Berkeley Street is one of Mayfair’s most exciting and exclusive nightclubs, and joining the Charlie guestlist or booking a Charlie table will leave you with insurpassable memories of the night. Named in honour of British comedy, film and music legend Charlie Chaplin, Charlie Berkeley Street seeks to embody the unforgettable legacy of Chaplin through its setting and ambiance. The atmosphere so elegantly personifies the era of the twenties (when Charlie Chaplin was in his prime), that only the music serves as a hint that it is in fact 2016, and upon exiting the club in the early hours of the morning (as you will doubtlessly be unable to leave before then) it will take you several minutes to readjust to 21st century life. Favored by the likes of British elite, such as model Amber Le Bon and contemporary art dealer Blaise Patrick, Charlie Berkeley Street is a privileged hangout spot for a crowd with exquisite taste, and is definitely worth a visit if you believe yourself to be a connoisseur of the most high-end London clubs available. However, due to its high class and level of demand, it is essential that you get yourself on the Charlie guestlist, or complete a table booking!

On entering the venue, the first thing which catches your eye is the warmth of the interior. The club has been decked out in wood and leather furniture, with a focus on the vintage - which creates an indescribable atmosphere of charm and elegance. This is further enhanced by the presence of pool tables and fireplaces. By booking a Charlie table, you can ensure that you will be able to access one of the quirky green leather sofas. Add in the tastefully dim lighting and you have a setting unlike literally any other London club. Moreover, the walls are decorated in curated art, which mostly features Charlie Chaplin himself, and which is definitely worth studying. The last touch to the air of the twenties is the dress of the waiters and waitresses - let’s just say bowler hats, waistcoats and braces make an appearance. Essentially, every last detail has been considered to create a club which even Chaplin would have been proud of. Apply to get Charlie entry now by completing the guestlist booking form below!

However, if reading this has made you feel like Charlie Berkeley Street is not a modern enough venue for you, fear not: the club also features incredible sound systems, internationally renowned DJs, and entertainment of the highest standard. Effectively, regardless of whether you are more into vintage or modern in your clubbing tastes, you should try your hardest to get on the Charlie guestlist!

Furthermore, the club is home to the world’s first resident Haig Club room. Haig Club is a unique single grain Scotch Whisky, created as a partnership between Diageo, David Beckham, and entrepreneur Simon Fuller, and predicted by experts to be the next hot thing in whisky trends. Haig Club is definitely a drink for the refined, and the resident Haig Club room is therefore a space for the tasteful and sophisticated (such as anyone who finds themselves at Charlie). The most exclusive room in the club, and a contribution to the history of clubbing (Haig has been hailed as ‘the original clubman’s whisky’), the resident room is an epitome of high-end clubbing culture. You can experience this culture by booking a Charlie table today.

You may be thinking that features and an atmosphere such as described above did not come easily - and you would be right. Charlie Berkeley Street comes out of a £1 million refurbishment - one of the most luxurious projects which has taken place in London recently - and this investment can be clearly seen in the club’s presence. The masterminds behind the concept are three of London’s most successful nightclub managers: Luca Maggiora, Jordan Rocca, and Paul Chung. Between them, those three have sold over 20 million bottles of vodka, hosted almost all of Hollywood’s celebrities, and created internationally acclaimed projects such as Toyroom and Project London. The three impresarios are definite experts in their field, and consequently getting on the Charlie guestlist would be somewhat of an honour. The incredibly high standards of Charlie Berkeley Street entry do not come as a surprise, and can be enjoyed even more through a Charlie table booking.

So we have established that the interior is fantastic, the club has some unique features, and that any visitor can rest assured that they are in good hands. However, that is not all. As mentioned above, Charlie Berkeley Street regularly welcomes internationally recognised names in music, such as Leah Weller, DJ Kaveh, and DJ Tito. The club boasts a deep house and hip-hop setup, and on certain days has an open format, including genres such as electro, dance, and R&B, meaning there is something for anyone - you just need to pick the right day of the week for you! Charlie runs guestlists for any day, and a table booking at Charlie can be carried out at any moment.

Interior is important, music is important, but a club is nothing without its drinks, and a good club can be ruined by its menu. Fortunately, Charlie Berkeley Street is in no such danger. One of the central pieces of the setting is a light installation which reads ‘A man’s true character comes out when he is drunk’. It is therefore not surprising that the club provides many means to release its visitors true characters (should they wish to do so). Once on the Charlie guestlist and inside the club, champagne, vodka, gin, and whisky of the highest quality are all on offer, and those who have the means can purchase bottles of Dom Perignon for £13,500. A Charlie table booking means you can enjoy your bottle in style!

Charlie Berkeley Street is all set to be the next big thing in London, and has already stirred up a whirlwind of talk and bookings. After its opening night, the club immediately pre-sold out for the following two weeks, and to this day remains notoriously difficult to access(although getting into Charlie with the guestlist does make this marginally easier!) This is due partially to the fact that the Charlie guestlist opts for quality over quantity - there are only 20 tables in the main room, meaning booking a Charlie table leads to an amazing night. However, this exclusiveness is also one of the main focuses of Maggiora and Rocca’s vision. One of the ways the duo have established their success is through maintaining venues which are frequented by only the right crowd. Moreover, given that their venues are often visited by celebrities, a high degree of secrecy is maintained at all the entrances and exits - and Charlie takes this to the next level. If you wish to enjoy an experience which feels much like being let in on a secret, then Charlie Berkeley Street is definitely the place for you - even upon entrance you will be subjected to hidden doors, tunnels, and private rooms. Only those who are let in on the secret will ever know truly what goes on behind the doors of Charlie!

But do not be put off! Although Charlie Berkeley Street is difficult to get in, and is fundamentally a members club (with members and table bookings receiving priority), non-members are still able to gain entrance. Just make sure you are dressed extremely well - the club states ‘smart and glamorous’ is the most appropriate choice of dress, and that you apply to be put on the guestlist. Alternatively, you can choose to book a table. As long as you are able to appreciate the kind of atmosphere Charlie is trying to promote, and make an attempt to fit into that atmosphere, you should have no issues with entrance.

Charlie Berkeley Street is a club with style, class, unforgettable vibes and amazing music. This club is without doubt worth a visit - apply for the Charlie guestlist or Charlie table booking today.

SPOTTED: MARNIE SIMPSON, NIALL HORAN AND MORE!

We all know that celebrities love a good party… London is a great place when you’re after a fun night out and celebrity sightings with all the exclusive clubs around! Below are the recent celebrity appearances in London nightclubs!

Marnie Simpson was spotted at DSTRKT having a quite friendly chat with footballer Jamie O’Hara. She was rocking a tight tan jumpsuit, and looked absolutely amazing!

Cirque le Soir is one of the most popular celebrity hang-outs. Niall Horan was seen leaving the swanky night club around 2.30 am...accompanied with three mysterious girls. He was more than happy to get a few snaps in the taxi while lovely ladies were getting in!

Paris Hilton and Sophia Richie were enjoying London’s nightlife with a Tape table booking. Two girls were photographed walking into the nightclub holding hands. Paris always makes sure she looks super stylish…Even though it was night time she was still wearing her designer sunglasses when entering the club with Sophia.

Nicole Scherzinger was spotted leaving Paper. She she looked fabulous with her hair tied in a fancy top knot. Oversized white blazer jacket and black flared trousers made a good combo! But it wouldn’t be like Nicole not to add a little bit of spice to the outfit with a sexy crop top...

Another celebrity seen out clubbing was Kate Moss. Supermodel was seen enjoying a night out at China Tang in Mayfair. She was wearing a very classy all-black outfit. I can tell, wide trousers are clearly becoming a hit with celebrities lately!

    Kensington Roof Gardens
    Kensington Roof Gardens
Richard Branson's multi-award winning Kensington Roof Gardens is undeniably one of the most exclusive clubs in London. Over the years the establishment has entertained the likes of celebrity legends such as David Bowie and Mick Jagger, and there's no surprise why. It's an luxurious venue located in the heart of London, 100 feet above Kensington High Street, resting on top of the former Derry & Toms art deco department store. It boasts a remarkable 1.5 acres of breathtaking rooftop gardens and is often referred to as London's 'Garden of Eden'. The gardens are arranged into three different themes. Firstly, there's the Moorish style which includes amazing fountains, palm trees and walkways adorned with vines. Secondly, the Tudor style gardens which includes archways, secluded corners and dazzling wisteria. Thirdly, the English woodland style boasts 100 different types of trees which have been planted and maintained beautifully by the formidable garden staff.
Another reason why Kensington Roof Gardens should be considered as one of the most exclusive clubs in London is because there are flamingos that roam around the gardens among the fruit trees and various kinds of fish in the filled streams. The former noughties club has provided extravagant parties for guests such as Beyoncé, Rihanna, Jay Z, Natalie Portman, P Diddy, Keira Knightly and even Prince Harry. The 300 capacity club is well known for its glamorous crowd and has had the likes of Lindsay Lohan, Justin Bieber and Jason Derulo pass through its glass double doors. Inside the black ceiling, furniture and walls are placed closed together by the vibrant neon lights and visuals on the screens. The menus in the club even light up so you can order yourself a cocktail from the diverse list of drinks. The mixologists are known for their expertise and the hostesses for their beauty.
Those who have been lucky enough to have been to Project, one of the most exclusive clubs in London, will have raved about the fine selection of house music heard through the speakers. Globally recognised DJs such as Deadmau5, Calvin Harris and Robert Sanchez have even been booked. Trust us, the guys behind Project really know how to throw a party. Not only are the DJs first-rated, their additional entertainment is as well. Project has been known to have entertaining dancers and live bongo players work the crowd up into a dancing-on-the-sofas frenzy. Their live shows are second to none.
    The Box
    The Box
The Box otherwise known as The Theatre Of Varieties is definitely one of the most exclusive clubs in London. The 7,000 square foot and  three-level building is definitely not one of the easiest clubs to get into. However, if you are lucky enough to pass through the wooden doors you're in for a treat, that's for sure. The Box is tucked away down a side street in Soho. Inside the club screams 1940s French boudoir and its entertainment is beyond eccentric. The dancers and performers perform bizarre erotic acts and acrobats before your very eyes. This isn't a place for the sexually shy or the squeamish. The music is also incredibly varied and keeps the crowd on their toes at all times.
The Box definitely attracts the very best. It has provided unforgettable nights for countless celebrities including: Prince Harry, Kendall Jenner, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Kate Moss, Lady Gaga, Zac Efron, Pixie Lott, Emma Watson, Leona Lewis... the list goes on! The Box is intimate, weird, luxurious and out of this world. Anything goes at The Box so you need to come with a open mind to experience it to its best ability. Your in for an unforgettable night out!
    Aristokrat
    Aristokrat
Situated in London's heartland of opulence, Aristokrat (formerly Aristocrat) is the latest addition to grace the circle of Mayfair's high-end clubs.  Since its launch in October 2016, it has done so with utmost elegance and grace. Taking the form of an aristocratic mansion, one is immediately engulfed upon entry by its wonderfully-crafted decor and surroundings which exude an exciting and impressive fusion of luxury with modernity and style. Its impressive baroque-themed interior decor including magnificently-designed chandeliers and ceiling art, beautifully fuses with the more modern and stylish elements. The most awe-inspiring of which is the golden skulls that conjure feelings of eeriness fused with excitement - a perfect setting for a night out that delivers on that crucial "buzz" without compromising on finesse and class.
As impressive as the club's decor is, the most impressive of its aspects is the crowd. Regular frequenters include many from London's elite who come to the club to mingle among themselves as well as some of London's most stunning models in its elegant yet cosy space. The club opens its doors every Monday, Friday, and Saturday, filling it with the creme de la creme of the city and its international visitors.
Music and entertainment-wise, some of the latest DJ talent play the latest commercial R&B and hip-hop setting the background theme and fitting the atmosphere of the club with the most enticing dancers and other performers.
The club's unique charm and luxurious elegance, coupled with the most fitting location for a venue of such character, truly places it in the high end of the category of the most exclusive clubs in London.
    Charlie Berkeley Street
    Charlie Berkeley Street
Where the legendary Funky Buddha once stood proud there now stands a new venue carrying all the prestige of its predecessor in its early days in this most prestigious Mayfair location. This exclusive venue is Charlie Berkeley Street. Opened in 2015 after a one million pound refurbishment, it is a most impressive and original addition to the list of the most exclusive clubs in London. Its name honours Charlie Chaplin, and the entire venue pays homage to the legendary British comedian, director and cultural icon. This is reflected in the style of the venue throughout, from the grand fireplace and vintage leather sofas to the friendly and welcoming waiting staff impeccably dressed to impress in 1920's attire. Yet, whilst the overriding theme of the venue dates almost 100 years back, it does so with a very modern twist, and the venue overall has a very modern feel to it. This is most notably evidenced by the impressive sound and lighting systems and general layout of the venue whose style fits with that of the most sleek of modern clubs. In addition, the jazzy style of the portraits that prevails across the club of the great man himself fits perfectly with this style. So if you're up for mingling with London's elite in beautifully and originally-themed classic yet modern venue;  Charlie Berkeley Street is one that is not to be missed.
     Tape
    Tape
Tape is a new and highly creative addition to Mayfair's circle of most exclusive clubs in London. Its name and logo represents the item that was once the primary medium of music and audio recordings. It is a perfect representation of the club's primary target audience and what the clubs pays homage to: the music industry. Inspired by Grammy Award-winning producer Dallas Austin, the club is designed and styled to celebrate the music industry and aims to create a nightspot for its creative professionals and enthusiasts which they can call home. This is especially the case with "Little Tape" - an adjoining 150 capacity members-only lounge that has an impressively curated display of artifacts from the music industry including the original Paul McCartney’s 1973 contract for Live and Let Die, a handwritten poem by Elvis Presley, Kurt Cobains’ set list, and Chuck Berrys’ guitar. In addition to this, the lounge has its own state-of-the-art recording studio accessible to its regular members by appointment. The main area of the club boasts a capacity of 250 and has a stage for live music. Additionally, it has an elegantly-arranged bar and seating area that displays a very modern sleek style, as well as top-range sound and lighting equipment that one can expect from such an exclusive venue. Tape is the place to be for an elite yet creative and edgy night out.
    Montezuma
    Montezuma
Launched in 2015, Montezuma is a highly original addition to the elite circle of most exclusive clubs in London. It takes its name from Emperor Montezuma II who ruled over the Aztec Empire half a millennium ago. (Leading his people to battle against the Spanish conquistadors) The name reflects the Aztec-inspired theme that dominates the nightclub. And, as can be expected of such an elite club in South Kensington, it does so very elegantly and stylishly. Upon entering this classy venue, one is struck by the Aztec decor ranging from the interior design to the artifacts on display. One is further struck by its impressive waitresses and hostesses doing their utmost to make you feel welcome. As the night progresses, one is enticed to try some of the club's signature drinks. The most noteworthy of these drinks is the Zuma shot - a secret, short cocktail said to have been created specially for the Aztec Emperor himself and subsequently passed down many generations to be supplied to the namesake club by a secret partner. Music-wise, the club's primary specialty is RnB and Hip-Hop and regularly employs top talent in the genre to spin the decks, with names including Doug Marshal and Joshua Roberts. Highly recommended for a high-end night out.
     Tonteria
    Tonteria
Crazy, outrageous, and original yet highly elite.  That is how one can best sum up this brilliant nightclub.  Tonteria is a highly original and quaint addition to the elite circle of most exclusive clubs in London.  Opened by Guy Pelly – a London socialite famous for his close ties with Prince William and Harry. Its aim of its establishment was to recreate the look and feel of an old Mexican Hacienda, yet present itself in a way that incorporates the class and elegance fitting for a high-end establishment in Sloane Square. It has done so with amazing grace. Stepping into the club, you immediately feel the fusion of Mexican cultural chic with Sloane Square sophistication brought on by the beautifully presented interior décor. Being an all-inclusive club, it offers the full Mexican experience and serves as a restaurant before the late hours, offering a full range of Mexican cuisine from tapas to full delicious meals.  After this, the party gets going and the place is turned into a night club with a strong emphasis on the theatrical performers that gives the place a strong buzz of a “crazy party” done in a way that is both energetic and celebratory, yet simultaneously classy and stylish.  To add to this, it has an equally impressive selection of drinks inspired by Mexican heritage including the Mayan Pyramid and the Tequila Slammer.  Then if you are lucky enough to be seated in the VIP area you will be equally impressed and excited by how these are delivered to your table: on a miniature train! This is miniature train that choo-choos around the club delivering shots!  If you’re up for a wild and crazy yet stylish and chic night out, Tonteria is the place.
    Bodo's Schloss
    Bodos Schloss
Opened by the same team that brought us the Polynesian paradise that is Mahiki, the arrival of Bodo’s Schloss onto the circuit of most exclusive clubs in London represents an addition that is just as original, elegant, and stylish as that of its elder Polynesian sibling.  The only difference is the theme.  Drawing heavily on the central European apres-ski experience, the venue’s intention is to resemble a log cabin ski resort in the Austrian Alps.  This overriding theme prevails throughout this delightful South Kensington venue and can be seen not just in its beautiful interior wooden structures and fireplace but in the stunningly presented waiting staff dressed in traditional Austrian folk attire.  Even the drinks-serving style matches the theme; its signature “ski shots” are served as a round and are delivered by the lovely waiting staff on an old wooden ski.  As an all-inclusive club, it serves as a restaurant during the early hours of the evening and serves a wide range of dishes from an authentic Austrian menu. Then later on in the night the party gets started with the latest in RnB, hip-hop, house, and commercial.  Highly original and highly recommended for an elegant night out.
     Libertine
    Libertine
Libertine proudly resides where the once infamous Chinawhite once stood.  It carries the heritage and torch of this once legendary club and, indeed, markets itself as “Libertine by Chinawhite”.  With its sleek and classy interior decor, it presents itself as a perfect nightlife home for the many models and celebrities who continue to frequently visit it. This is a result of the long-standing relationship that the club has with the celebrity world.  A chance to mingle with London’s most elite and beautiful is indeed one of the main attractions of this prestigious club.  The club is also a regular host to some of the world’s top musical talent, with recent visits by Drake, Jason Derulo, and Pete Tong.  If its strong celebrity appeal wasn't enough, the venue has much to offer in terms of originality.  This is visible from the first moment one walks into the venue as the mirror glass walk way engulfs and takes those who walk through it to the main area where one is confronted by a 50-foot screen that dominates the area as it projects vivid lights and colour.  From the main area there are two further smaller rooms, one of which is a molecular cocktail lounge run by cocktail maestros Fluid Movement and presents itself in an elegant, low-key, speakeasy style.  The other is the highly intimate and private VIP lounge.  The spirit of Chinawhite lives on through Libertine as its most recent incarnation, thus safely placing this club in the top category within the much-prestigious circle of the most exclusive clubs in London.  As such, any nightlife enthusiast would be gravely mistaken to give a party at this great venue a miss.
     Mahiki
    Mahiki
Mahiki is a fun and festive venue and slightly less formal compared to some others in the Mayfair circuit.  However, it still very much retains its status within the prestigious circle of the most exclusive clubs in London.  Set across two floors, the club is designed in the style of a tropical paradise island with a very pronounced Polynesian theme, as demonstrated by its bamboo-lined walls, tiki-style bars, and wooden carvings adorning the walls.  Just as impressive is the wide range of tropically-inspired signature cocktails on offer, the most out lavish of which are puffing with smoke!  The Mahiki brand now carries its own line of rum which is used in its cocktails and the venue also provides master classes in cocktail making lead by their award-winning mixologist. To top off its list of novelties, it even has its own “No-Tell Motel” -  a cheeky, love-shack-inspired private area with its own double-bed, shower, bar, and karaoke. As with many exclusive Mayfair clubs, celebrities, royals, and other members of London’s elite have been known to attend this fun venue since it was first opened in 2005.  After more than a decade in the business, it still continues to stand the test of time by delivering on what it does best: providing a fun and relaxed party atmosphere right in the heart of Mayfair.  Not to be missed if you’re up for an exclusive yet fun night out.
     Maddox
    Maddox
Maddox is one of the most lavish and stylish establishments that truly graces the circle of most exclusive clubs in London. Set in the heart of Mayfair, this private members club is yet another great example of the work of club entrepreneur Fred Moss. (He was  responsible for Mo*vida, Chinawhite,  Aura, and serves as a magnificent show of his superior skills in his forte) Whilst entry is usually restricted to members, the venue can be visited by non-members by means of booking a table at the restaurant which serves a fine Mediterranean and Italian inspired cuisine. As one enters the club’s main room, one can feel the presence of the glass-enclosed DJ booth that dominates the area and plays host to some of the world’s top DJ talent who spin the right tunes to dance to. This is  supported by top class lighting and sound system.  Another feature that makes it stand out from the crowd is its courtyard, which very few clubs on the exclusive Mayfair circuit can boast of.  With such an impressive array of features, it is not surprising that the club has been frequented by A-listers including Keira Knightley and Diddy.  If decadence and luxury with a modern, understated style is what you enjoy then Maddox is the place to go.
     DSTRKT
    DSTRKT
DSTRKT is a club that celebrates modern grandeur.  Set in Soho and known for being one of central London’s historically less affluent but more edgy and boisterous venues of entertainment. It aims to bring a touch of class to this area which lies close to the border of the more traditionally opulent Mayfair.  Its grandeur can be felt from the moment you step into the venue as you become surrounded by its crystal chandeliers and chiming bells.  This becomes further evident in the main room as you're confronted by the sheer presence of the red crystal chandelier as it floats above your head.  The VIP lounge goes a step further in its decadent appeal as it boasts of being the only such lounge with a bar entirely made of precious stone.  But, as impressive as all these feats are, it is the people who make the party, and it is they who put this club in the category of the most exclusive clubs in London.  This is where this club shines the brightest.  Many an A-list celebrity has been known to party here including Tom Cruise, Snoop Dogg, and Sylvester Stallone.  In addition, many have likewise performed here.  To top it all off, DSTRKT plays host to many highly-publicized special events including album launches, fashion shows, and premier parties throughout the year. For luxury with a modern style and a chance to rub shoulders with a celebrity, DSTRKT is one not to be missed.
     Cirque Le Soir
    Cirque Le Soir
Cirque Le Soir is not just a club.  It’s a circus extravaganza!  Since its launch in 2009, it remains as incredible as ever as they have managed to seamlessly fuse a circus show, and all of the novelty and excitement that comes with it, with the grandeur and decadence that comes with being one of the most exclusive clubs in London.  Set in the vibrant and pleasant but somewhat subtle surroundings of Mayfair’s Carnaby Street, this club is anything but subtle and could easily leave Lady Gaga feeling a little low-key.  The club is famed for its wide array of performers including magicians, clowns, fire-eaters, sword-swallowers, burlesque dancers, snake charmers, contortionists and stilt walkers, as well as its fitting circus décor, top cocktail mixologists, and international DJs.  It is also famous for the A-list celebrities it has been able to attract over the years including Madonna, Lady Gaga, and Leonardo DiCaprio.  For a weird and wonderful yet elite night out, this one is not to be missed.
     Shaka Zulu
    Shaka Zulu
Shaka Zulu is a South Africa themed all-inclusive club comprising a restaurant, bar and dance area.  As the name suggests, its theme is deeply rooted in the country’s Zulu tradition to the extent that the Zulu King – HRH Goodwill Zwelithini – gave the venue his royal blessing after it opened in 2010.  Located in the Camden Stables Market, it is rooted in a location known for its vibrant, artistic, and alternative feel outside of the usual Mayfair/Chelsea area but manages to retain all that is required to give it the full Mayfair/Chelsea feel with an originally creative twist.  For this reason, it effortlessly puts itself in the category of the most exclusive clubs in London. As you walk in, you will be amazed by the amount of meticulous effort that has gone into the décor.  The entire wall and ceiling surfaces are fully covered in beautifully crafted wooden murals, and the chairs and tables are true works of art, as are the numerous warrior statues standing proud around the club.  The restaurant offers delicious South African cuisine and the bar has a wide selection of wine and cocktails.
     Cafe De Paris
    Cafe De Paris
Cafe De Paris is all about fusing modern clubbing and dining with the cabaret experience.  Founded in 1924 - at the height of cabaret culture during the Roaring Twenties - it is one of the oldest nightclubs in London and still largely stays true to its founding tradition.  However, it does so with a more modern twist and a less pretentious style than would have prevailed in cabaret culture when it was first opened. During which time the atmosphere among the guests would have been more akin to that of a stately dinner than a fun night out.  The club is set across one main floor and one theatre-style mezzanine with a standing capacity of 720 once the tables are cleared to make room for the dance floor.  It features draped velvet, a luscious chandelier and classical peers that conjures feelings of 1920's grandeur.  Its layout and style are very much geared towards enabling the guests to enjoy the cabaret experience to the fullest and in all its grandeur.  Friday and Saturday tend to host their main shows which consist of styles involving circus, comedy and burlesque.  In the late evenings the cabaret and tables are cleared to make way for the disco.  Music-wise, the selection tends to be similar to other establishments that fall into the category of most exclusive clubs in London. If you want to experience a piece of London's living entertainment history in all its grandeur, Cafe De Paris is the place to go.
     Toy Room
    Toy Room
Don't be deceived by the name of this club.  It is, in fact, a venue which exudes classical opulence with its leather sofas and stylish interior and is one of the most exclusive clubs in London. With a capacity of 300 people and 20 tables, it is a medium-sized venue that graces Mayfair with its presence just off Oxford Circus and has recently undergone a major, multi-million-pound refurbishment.  As you enter Toy Room you will at some point be greeted by Frank - a 6ft tall teddy bear employed by the club to keep the guests amused and entertained.   You may also be greeted (or, more likely, just rub shoulders with if you are lucky) by one of the many celebrities known to have visited this venue.  As with many a Mayfair establishment, it is principally London's elite that frequently visit this club and it is known for having a guestlist policy that is one of the more restrictive ones compared to other exclusive clubs in the Mayfair/Chelsea area.  A great place to go for a great and elite night out.
     Raffles
    Raffles
When it comes to having a rich and prestigious history and heritage, rarely does a venue shine as brightly as Raffles. Founded in 1967, the club is named in honour of Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles who served as a leading statesman of the British Empire in the Far-East, having contributed to its expansion in the region and being most notably remembered for his creation of Singapore. Aptly situated on King's Road - the very heart of London's infamously opulent Chelsea area - this club's long and astounding history includes visits by the very top category within the creme de la creme of British society. This includes the UK's highest ranking guest of all - the Queen - who visited the venue with Prince Charles and Princess Anne to celebrate the 21st birthday of the grandson of the Earl of Mountbatten. Other high-profile dignitaries have included Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, legendary American singer Barbara Streisand, the Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, and Vivienne Westwood. To preserve its rich heritage and status as one of the most exclusive clubs in London, it continues to operate as a members-only club and allow visits by non-members only via invitation by an existing member. Entertainment-wise, Raffles, from the same owners as B London, presents itself as a club that elegantly fuses heritage with modern glitz with its neon floor lights and grand leather sofas, and the music that is played tends to be a mix of commercial, pop, RnB, and indie. All in all, highly recommended - a great venue with great heritage for a great night out.

The Top 20 Excuses For Flaking On A Club Booking

    lyinggirl

Here at Velvet PR we typically deal with hundreds of bookings every week and whilst the majority of our guests are fantastic and we enjoy looking after them time and again in the clubs we host, sadly there are always the guests who make our lives a bit of a nightmare. Troublesome guests can include those getting too drunk, being rude or not dressing according to the club’s requirements.

There is one particularly upsetting category of troublesome guests however, who we simply name 'Flakers’. Flakers are those who book in a big group of guests (often for a birthday) then cancel within mere hours (sometimes minutes) of the event taking place after having planned for days on end their night out to minute detail.

In celebration of these flakers who we have grown so fond of, we have compiled a top 20 list of the best excuses we have been presented with to explain the cancellation. Whether the excuse is valid or a porky pie remains a mystery, but we have helpfully accompanied each of the 20 excuses with it’s own lie-o-meter (which works on a scale of 1-3 with 1 being almost certainly true and 3 being a Double Whopper with extra bacon and cheese!). Also, for your reference we've helpfully added a frequency of use scale so you can see just how often we get offered each of the following (again on a 1-3 scale with 1 being low and 3 being so common they probably have it saved as a shortcut on their phone for easy access!).

So here we present our ultimate list of the top 20 excuses for flaking on a booking. Whether you are reading this simply for your amusement or as a how-to guide on some of the best cop-outs you can have at your disposal next time you are in urgent need of a get-out-of-jail-free card, we hope you will enjoy the fruits of our research, and don’t feel afraid to refer someone to this next time you hear one of these infamous lines. We certainly will be!

After he stayed to enjoy the end of the party until 3 am.   The star was wearing a black hat, black jacket and black t-shirt and of course his classic glasses.
